Nothing announces summer more than the jingle of Mister Softee trucks, especially in New York City. It's like the inner child is brought out of every one of us when we hear that familiar song or get handed a cone or sundae through the open window.
On a recent trip to Times Square, our oldest son was unamused by the swarm of costumed characters and not all that impressed by the tall buildings. A true New Yorker I say!
Seeing Light in Black and White - Week 4
For this final week of seeing light in black and white I decided to attempt some street photography and thought it would be fun to include a dash of humor, and hopefully a little irony, of life in the Big Apple.
Please follow along the circle to view the rest of Photo 52's images for this week. Next up is Stacey Vukelj, fellow New Yorker and street photographer extraordinaire.
